A Crux Crush Goodbye

Crux Crush has been going strong for almost 4 years, and we are incredibly proud of what we have produced. However, as climbers with full time jobs and otherwise busy lives, it has become more and more difficult to find the inspiration and motivation to maintain the site. We are extremely lucky to have been a part of the explosion of climbing media over the past few years, but feel we have contributed as much as we can at this point.

Thank you to our committed, strong, and witty readers, who have been a huge source of inspiration for us. Your comments, emails, and run-ins at gyms and crags around the country have made us so proud of the Crux Crush community.

Thank you to all of the organizations and companies who generously partnered with us over the years. It has been fun getting to know each and every one of you. We feel privileged to have collaborated with you!

Finally, a huge thank you to our honest, funny, and gracious contributors. Your stories are the heart and soul of Crux Crush. You spoke for us when we didn’t know what to say or quite how to say it. You will always be on our team.

We will be leaving our content up as a resource for climbers and climbers-to-be. We hope that it will continue to inspire women and men alike to try hard, have fun, and even check out something new. It has been an amazing run (or climb, actually) and we cannot thank you enough!

Climb on!

I’ve really enjoyed the site, right from the early days . . . I’m sad to see it go. Your enthusiasm for the sport and all-around psych factor was infectious. I hope that you Crux Crushers keep on climbing (if not blogging), and that I continue to bump into you at Rumney.
